Each of the three pieces signed Japanese characters, the teaspoon with maker. Or retailer’s mark S in star frame. This rare, late Meiji sterling and cloisonne enamel tea cup 2 1/2 inches handle to rim. Matching saucer 3 3/4 inches and teaspoon 4 inches, complete set 2 1/4 standard ounces.
